GOOD MORNING!
im listening to TIME OF YOUR LIFE by GREENDAY.
haha yeah yesterday was the last day of Star 1 Kayak Course! wooohooo!
i hope everyone had enjoyed the kayaking course conducted by Derek!So i guess all the year 1s are now pros eh! haha.
the weather was devastating.
it was raining heavily and we were stuck under the bridge.supposed to go flyers :(
learnt a few more paddling skills. classic side draw, back paddling, ....
then finally the rained stopped. we practiced the sternrumble which allow us to switch directions swiftly. it was fun!
haha. then we also learnt the 360degree turn.
headed for lunch at 1230 and launched off at 130.
then we were taught some expedition skills, like what to plan and stuff. and we set off to flyers. BUT again the clouds were gathered on that side and there were lightning so yeah we had to head back again haiz...
this was why we ended early. our test? hah
a capsize drill thats all.
and stupid hairi came out wrong side LOL.
then we hurried emptied the boat and carried onto the trolley. set off back to the quarters.
and that ends of journey. :(
we had a quick debrief and dismissed.
haha but we had loads of fun mass bathing!
